Need help installing a new faucet on your system? Follow along and you'll have it installed in no time. This faucet is for undersink systems that require a faucet with an air gap. For model ECOP30 that requires an air gap. It can also be used for these models (which do no require an air gap) ECOP40 & ECOP20.

Step 1 - Prepare a Mounting Hole (if needed)
First you'll need to pick where you're going to place the faucet. It'll need to be flat against the surface and there should be space underneath for the tubing. Here are your options:
- Use an existing sink top hole for a spray or other faucet. A 1-1/4" diameter hole is needed.
- Dill a new hole in the countertop next to the sink.
- Drill a new hole in the sink top.
If you need to drill, the hole should be 1-1/4" in diameter.
Important: Drilling holes into countertops made of stone or solid surface materials such as granite, marble or plastic resin products, or sinks made of porcelain and stainless steel should only be performed by a qualified installer who is certified for drilling such materials. Drilling of these type of surfaces by any other means may cause permanent, irreparable damage to the countertop surface.
Step 2 - Assemble the Faucet
If you're using a faucet with an already existing Drinking Water system, you should follow the installation instructions in the Owner's manual. Otherwise, continue on here. Use the photo below for reference.
1. You'll start off by removing the nut from the end of the stud. Then slide the spacer and lock washer onto the stud. Place the nut back on the stud.
2. Go ahead and insert the tubing and the faucet stud down, into the mounting hole.
3. On the underside of the sink or countertop, you'll slide the slotted washer between the countertop and spacer. Then tighten the hex nut securely.
4. Now twist the 3/8" quick connect adaptor onto the end of the stud and tighten that securely.
5. Connect the 3/8" water line from filtration system by pushing the line into 3/8" quick connect adaptor.
6. If a drain line is required to run through the faucet for an RO system, connect the 1/4" drain line from the unit to the smaller barb on the bottom of the faucet. Make sure the drain line also has the air gap. Connect the 3/8" line from the faucet to the drain. This drain line works by gravity. You'll want to make it as short and straight as possible, with no dips or loops. Nice work! You're finished!
