Water Softener Cleanser Safety

The EcoPure Water Softener is a diluted Phosphoric Acid solution that is designed to reduce buildup inside your resin tank. If used properly, the cleanser will flow through the internal parts of your softener, and then rinse out through the drain hose during a recharge cycle. The cleanser should never come in contact with your plumbing, but we do recommend opening a faucet for a few minutes post-recharge to rinse out an residual cleanser as a safety measure.
